When it comes down to it getting lean is actually fairly simple to establish that baseline that gets and keeps you lean for life.
They’re really only two steps and what they look like, see if you can guess what they are. give you just a minute. Okay, here we go. Here’s the big reveal.
So, we have the standard checklist, sleep training, where does the diet we said that we wanted to get them all to a green traffic light. So we’ll have red here. We’ll have yellow here. Oops, that color did not change.
Okay, yellow, and of course, green up at the top. We want to get all of these to a green traffic light and to get there, two steps, right? We have going from red to yellow, and going from yellow to green. Now, we break this down when you break it down. There are 10 opportunities for improvement. Right? Let’s pretend that right now. You are not getting a lot of sleep. Okay?
You’re sleep deprived. So going from here to here, that’s one opportunity for improvement. Once you’re at a yellow, then we can start thinking and talking about going to green. All right, little by little step by step 10 ways to improve. Okay, let’s look at training. Let’s say maybe you’re doing well on training, you’re doing great on Nipa, your diet is crap. And awarenesses is good. It’s getting there, but it’s not good enough yet.
So let’s say this is you, then, basically our GPS, right, what we have to do to establish that really solid baseline is will we have a step here, and then we have another step up here for sleep. So that’s two steps. This one we can ignore, you’re already doing great on the training.
Just keep that up. Keep your strengths, your strengths, while showing up your weaknesses. So that’s what one of my my coach Chris young used to say to me, and awareness, you have a step right here.
So that’s three steps. Your net was already doing great. So again, keep your strengths, your strengths while bringing up your weaknesses.
And then your diet needs to improve. So there’s another opportunity, not one, but two. opportunities. So that looks like 12345 opportunities for improvement. So this is why, you know, not everybody has to do the same amount of work to lose weight.
If you have to improve all 10 of these, you’re going to have a lot more work than somebody who only has to improve one or two. And sometimes that’s what happens. Somebody comes in here and they’re like, Ah, crap, I didn’t realize that I had greens or all this stuff.
But my diet was holding me back, right? They have two improvements to make, and then they’re lean for life. Isn’t that amazing? Right. So it’s not really fair kind of in that regard. We talked about earning the look.
And but we’re all coming from a different place. We have to find out right where you are. And we’re going to do that. In the next videos, we’re going to look at all the standard checklist and whether you are red, yellow, or green, and then based on that, where you’re at right now, what’s the fastest and easiest way to get you lean for life.
Okay, so look forward to it.
We’ll talk to you again really soon in the next video.
